Jieyang Chaoshan International Airport (HPL Laminated Cement Panels) is the largest civil airport in eastern Guangdong Province. In 2011, the overseas Chinese hometown of Chaoshan will break free from the current restrictions of a joint military-civilian airport and truly have a modern civil international airport. After the Jieyang Chaoshan Airport is put into use, it will become the third largest trunk airport in Guangdong Province after Guangzhou Baiyun and Shenzhen Bao'an airports.
