The Qingdao Petroleum University Tunnel (Metal Side Cladding Panel), or the Qingdao Zhujiang Road (Petroleum University Area) Connectivity Project, is a municipal project designed to improve traffic conditions and to promote cooperation between the university and the local community. The project consists of a two-way four-lane tunnel of approximately 998 meters in length that passes through the Petroleum University campus, as well as an underground parking lot and widening of Zhujiang Road. The project was listed as a typical case of two-star intelligent site construction in the province, demonstrating the technological and informational level of engineering construction.
